GERRARD, (Joseph (Joe)) (Church View, Lusk, Co. Dublin) (February 10, 2006) - His wife Brid and family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our recent sudden loss, those who attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial. We wish to extend our gratitude to all those who called to our home, telephoned, sent cards, letters and flowers and especially those who travelled long distances to be with us. Thank you to our extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends for their help and generosity, they were and continue to be such a source of support to us all. Our sincere thanks to Canon John Fitzgibbon for the removal service, funeral Mass and burial that was made so personal to Joe. Thanks also to Fr Smith, Fr O'Connor, Fr Hogan, Fr O' Neill, Fr Mangan and Fr Hyland who attended and celebrated the funeral ceremonies and those who prepared the church and served the Mass. A special word of thanks to the Organist and the C.I.E. Choir; their beautiful performance made the removal service and funeral very special and comforting. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Dr. James Reilly, the staff at Beaumont Hospital and the emergency services for their help and kindness following Joe's death. We will always remember and appreciate your kind expressions of affection for Joe (RIP) who is so deeply missed by all. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will convey our deepest appreciation to you all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions and as a token of our sincere appreciation.
