GILL (Col. Gerard) (Westport, Co. Mayo and Greystones, Co. Wicklow) - The family of the late Gerard would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us in our bereavement last August, all who attended Gerard's removal Mass and burial, those who sent flowers, Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and telephoned, our friends and neighbours, and especially Gerard's, together with all of his friends at Greystones Bridge Centre for their kindness, love and support at a sad time. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the late Monsignor Paddy Wallace and Fr Denis Quinn of the Church of the Holy Rosary, Greystones and to Fr John Dunne S.J., and the members of the Jesuit Community who joined them to concelebrate Gerard's funeral Mass. We would also like to express our gratitude to those who looked after him at St James' Hospital and at Loughlinstown Hospital, and in particular the wonderful staff of Our Lady's Manor, Dalkey, where he had resided for a number of years. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered by Fr Joseph M. Gill S.J., for the intentions of all.
