To the Family of Helen Lamb

Hello!

I am the daughter of Donald and Daphne Wormell. I knew Helen and Keith a long time ago.Keith was very kind to me, when I was interested in horticulture.

Recently, a book I wrote on my mother was launched in Christ Church Cathedral. The book includes Daphne's time in TCD as a student, when she knew Helen quite well. In the book is a photo of some ladies outside No. 6, and Helen is in that photo - it is a photo that only lately has come to light. I had written to Helen to try to ID some people in the pic, and we corresponded about it, around 7-8 years ago.

When the book launch date was set, I wrote to your parents last November at Woodfield, but the letter was returned to me here in Canada. I was very saddened to find today in the I. Times website the news of the death of both Helen and Keith.

If you are interested in the book - www.hinds.ie will get you one.

I hope this reaches someone in the Lamb family.

Yours sincerely, Julia Turner (nee Wormell)

Fiachra Lamb

Sorry to hear, Fiachra. Hopefully your uncle will carry on your grandfather's dream and preserve Woodfield House. Lord knows.....it would be too difficult an undertaking for you or your mum.
