BARKER (Whiffen Jean) (Clontarf) (died October 11, 2004, First Anniversary) - The family of the late Jean Barker would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us in our sad loss. Our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the removal and funeral, especially those who travelled long distances, those who wrote, telephoned, sent Mass and sympathy cards. In particular we would like to thank the staff of the Institute of European Affairs for their support and help during Jean's illness and in having her remains brought home and especially her kind, generous and loyal friend Brendan Halligan. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.Jean is sadly missed today and always.
