O'SULLIVAN, Jane - "Don't tell me how educated you are
Tell me how much you've travelled" - Mohammed.
This time last year, our world fell apart when our beautiful daughter Jane was diagnosed with cancer, and for Anne who was with us at that time, Thank You. We who are left behind have much to be thankful for. Jane's was a full and energetic life lived with enthusiasm, kindness and a keen sense of fun. We, Jane's heartbroken parents Ger and Dolores would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support shown to us on the recent loss of our beautiful Jane. We would like to thank you all who called to our home, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, floral tributes and to those who phoned and text and eased our path at a very difficult time. Your shared memories of Jane have been a huge comfort to us. We offer special thanks to all Jane's friends who travelled long distances to be with us. We are deeply grateful for all you have done and for all you continue to do and we appreciate so much the time and effort you have taken to let us know we are in your thoughts. We thank those who made donations to Oncology, Drogheda. We thank the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and especially the wonderful staff in Oncology. We thank Fr Ross, Fr Tom and most sincerely Fr Martin who did Jane so proud with his beautiful Mass. Thanks to Helen Hutchinson for her outstanding singing. Thanks to Townley Undertakers for their sensitive professionalism and guidance. To our wonderful friends and neighbours, we thank you all so much. We thank our friends in Aer Lingus for just being there and your beautiful 100 roses. And to Jane's wonderful friends who were there for Jane throughout her illness, we will never be able to thank you enough, you never failed to be there. You were like the sisters she never had, especially Tanya, Anthea, Julie and Sheila. As it is too heartbreaking to thank you all individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
