FITZGERALD (John) (Dublin and Bandon) (late of the Dept. of Finance) (died May 1, 2006) - John's wife Betty, daughter Eilís, sons Gearóid, Eoin, Niall, Liam and Cian, and sister Mary, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on John's sudden death. A special word of thanks to the Ambulance and Fire Brigade personnel, and the staff at Tallaght Hospital, who tended to John. We would like to thank Fr Damian Farnon, who administered the Last Rites, and Fr Jimmy Murray, P.P. Knocklyon, whose words of comfort during the removal ceremony and funeral Mass consoled us greatly. We would also like to thank our wonderful neighbours, friends, and relatives for their help and kindness. We greatly appreciate the support of those who called to the house or phoned, those who attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial, John's friends and former colleagues from the Civil Service, those who travelled long distances, and the young people who attended in such large numbers. Our sincere gratitude also to those who sent Mass Cards, letters, sympathy cards and floral tributes. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
