FURNISS, Captain (Stocking Lane, Rathfarnham and formerly Ballinteer, Dublin) - October 12, 2009 (tragically), at Cornamona, Co Galway. Derek, dearly loved and sadly missed by his partner Lesley, special friend Rebecca, mother Paula, father Owen, sisters Jane and Susan, grandfather Gene, relatives, friends and Defence Forces colleagues. Reposing at home, at Stocking Lane, Rathfarnham, from 5 p.m. today (Thursday October 15). All visitors welcome. Removal on Saturday October 17 at 11.30 a.m. to St John the Evangelist Church, Ballinteer for Funeral Ceremony at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kilmashogue Cemetery, Edmondstown. Family flowers only.
