O'BRIEN (Dublin) - September 1, 2008, peacefully, after a long illness, bravely borne, in the presence of his family and in the tender loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Lynn Ward, Tallaght Hospital, which the family deeply appreciated, James (Jim), beloved husband and best friend of Noreen, beloved father of Paula (deceased), Barry, David, Sheelagh and Hugh; very sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters- in-law, brother Michael, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a close circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral on Thursday after 10 o'clock Mass to Bohernabreena Cemetery."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis".
