BRADY S.C., RORY (Rathmines, Dublin 6) - Died July 19, 2010. The wife, daughters and family of the late Rory Brady wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them following Rory's untimely demise earlier this year. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took time and travelled long distances to attend Rory's removal, funeral Mass and burial and to all those who called to the house or sent such beautiful letters, cards and Mass offerings, which meant so much to us. In particular we wish to thank the following for their attendance at the obsequies - The President, Mrs. Mary McAleese and Dr. Martin McAleese, An Taoiseach, Mr. Brian Cowen, An Tanaiste, Ms. Mary Coughlan, Ministers of the Government, the Attorney-General, Mr. Paul Gallagher, former Taoisigh Mr. Bertie Ahern, Mr. Albert Reynolds and Mr. Liam Cosgrave, Members of the Oireachtas, the Chief Justice, Mr. John Murray, the President of the High Court, Mr. Nicholas Kearns, Judges and retired Judges of the Supreme, High, Circuit and District Courts, Judges of the European Courts, Members of the Council of State, and Garda Commissioner, Mr. Fachtna Murphy. Sincere thanks to everyone who helped make Rory's funeral services so special, in particular Fr. Martin Clarke PP, Donnybrook, for his great spiritual guidance, and Fr. Paul Lavelle PP, Rathgar, Fr. Eamon Aylward, Fr. Sergio Rosiles and Archdeacon David Pierpoint. Many thanks also to Mr. Dermot McCarthy, Secretary General of the Department of the Taoiseach and the Protocol Section of that Department, members of An Garda Siochana, the Vard Sisters and Fanagans Funeral Directors for their professionalism and courtesy. We would also like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the exceptional doctors, nurses and staff at the Beacon Hospital where Rory always received such outstanding care. Sincere thanks to Dr. Jenny Westrup, Mr. Peter Meagher, Dr. Wendy Lynch, Mr. Gary O'Toole, Mr. Barry Powell (London), Dr. Conor McCarthy, the Breslin family and our GP, Dr. Peter O'Sullivan and many others who were so good to Rory during his illness. A very special thank you to Rory's wonderful colleagues and friends from the Law Library, The King's Inns, the Solicitor's profession, the Irish Takeover Panel, the American Arbitration Association and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, who have all supported us throughout Rory's illness and since his passing. We have been overwhelmed by the extraordinary kindness and compassion of family, friends and neighbours. You have helped sustain us through these difficult days for which we are deeply grateful. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
