GUBBINS, Elizabeth (Mountshannon Road, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick) - Elizabeth's father Tom, brother David, sisters Ita, Lucy, Marie and Helen, Uncles, Aunts and extended family wish to thank all those who sympathised and supported them during the recent sad loss of Elizabeth. To Gene, Sinead and their families, we are forever thankful for the loyalty and bravery you demonstrated after the tragic events. Our grateful thanks to those who assisted in the official proceedings in Rome, particularly the staff of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Irish Embassy in Rome, the Irish Ambassador in Rome, Monsignor Bergin and all the staff of the Pontifical Irish College in Rome. We are thankful to all those people in Rome who volunteered their assistance. We will always remember the ceremony in the Pontifical Irish College in memory of Elizabeth and Mary on Good Friday. Our sincere thanks to the Aer Lingus staff who assisted us during the sad journey from Rome, and to all who accompanied us on the road home to Lisnagry. We are extremely grateful to our neighbours and the committee of Ahane GAA club for all their support. A special word of thanks to our families in law. We remember Elizabeth's many friends and her cousins who shared this very sad time with us. We deeply appreciate those who called to our home, sent Mass cards, letters, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis charity and prayed for Elizabeth and her friend Mary. We especially thank Elizabeth's Uncle Canon Willie Fitzmaurice and the priests of Castleconnell parish, Fr Kyne and Fr Minogue for their continued support, also to the priests who concelebrated. We thank all those who assisted in the funeral Mass - especially Castleconnell Church choir, Soloist, Organist, and the musicians. They added to the solemnity of the Mass, funeral and the burial. Our gratitude to John Meehan, undertaker, and also to the grave diggers at the burial in Kilmurry cemetery. We wish to thank Elizabeth's work colleagues for their remembrances of Elizabeth, and to our various employers and colleges where Elizabeth's brother and sisters are studying. We acknowledge the members of An Garda SÃochana who had the difficult task of informing us of this tragic event. Finally, as it is impossible to mention everybody, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Elizabeth's Month's Mind Mass will be offered in Castleconnell Church on Friday 16th of May at 8 p.m.
