McNAMARA (Blackrock and Kilbrittain, Co. Cork) - August 23, 2008 (peacefully) in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff at The Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, Douglas (Doug), dearly loved husband of Elizabeth (Liz née Herriott) and much loved father of Niamh and Conor; sadly missed by his loving wife and children, parents Louis and Barbara, brother Comdt Stuart, and sister Andrea, father-in-law David, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephew, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. Lying in repose at The Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road, of Jerh O'Connor, Ltd. Removal at 7 o'clockockon this (Monday) evening to St. Michael's Church, Blackrock. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12 o'clock Funeral afterwards to St. Patricks Cemetery, Bandon. House private, family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice."May he rest in peace"
