BURKE (Robert) (Clonskeagh/Goatstown) (died in Thailand on July 1, 2004) - On the first anniversary of Rob's death, Derek, Jean, Aoife, David, Stephen and Michael, with our families, wish to express sincere gratitude to our wonderful friends and neighbours and to each and everyone who sympathised with and supported us in so many ways at the time of Rob's death and ever since then. The love, care, kindness, compassion and generosity shown to us is deeply appreciated and is helping us cope with the loss of our dearest Rob. To his many good friends we wish to say a very special thank you. Thank you to Father John McNerney of UCD for his gentleness and for speaking of Rob so movingly and thoughtfully at his removal and funeral Mass, to Father Pat Carroll of the Sacred Heart Church, Donnybrook for his kindness and to the musicians for their beautiful and sensitive playing and singing at Rob's funeral. We will be giving thanks for Rob's life and for all our family and friends at 11.30 o'clock Mass on Sunday, July 3, in the Church of our Lady Seat of Wisdom, U.C.D., Belfield.
