BLACK - Suddenly and peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in Sarasota, Florida, Jacqueline Elizabeth Black (née Adam) of London, Ontario, Canada, in her 69th year. Beloved wife of John, dear mother of Nicola (Darren) Scott, Nigel (Sharon, née Meertens) Black, Deborah (David) Usprich, Wendy (Dean) Loupos. Devoted grandmother of Olivia, Henry and Andrew Scott, Jacqueline, Katherine and William Black, Charlotte Usprich and Nicholas and John Loupos. Dear daughter of the late James Adam and Ailsa (née Herman). Jacky was born in Dublin, Ireland, on December 9, 1940 and married on July 3, 1963 in St Paul's Church, Glenageary. She, John and their first two children emigrated to Canada in 1967. Two more children soon followed in their new home. Jacky enjoyed travelling around the world with her family and died doing just what she loved to do the most. The funeral service was conducted at Metropolitan United Church, 468 Wellington Street at Dufferin Ave., London, Ontario on Monday, March 23 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Herbert S. Summers. A private graveside service will be held at Robin's Hill Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Metropolitan United Church or the St Joseph's Health Care Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged (www.HarrisFuneralHome.ca)
