O'DONNELL (Comdt. Michael Paul, Retired) (late of Roselawn, Naas, Co. Kildare) - The wife and family of the late Comdt. Michael Paul O'Donnell, Retired, wish to thank on this, the first anniversary of his death, all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Thank you to all those who attended the removal and requiem Mass, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, enrolments, floral tributes and those who telephoned and emailed. Sincere thanks to those who called to the house and travelled long distances to be with us. We extend deep appreciation to the Chief of Staff of the Defence Forces and to Paul's colleagues, serving and retired. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the United Nations Personnel, both in New York and the Field Office in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A special word of thanks to Malachy Keegan, whose assistance was greatly appreciated. We also wish to thank the members of An Garda Síochána, who assisted at Paul's removal and funeral. Sincere thanks to the Principal and staff of Scoil an Linbh Íosa, Ballycane, Naas and to friends in surrounding schools. Also thank you to Dromtariffe G.A.A. Club for their kind expression of sympathy. We wish to thank our neighbours, friends and relatives for their support and kindness. A special word of thanks to Fr Jimmy Doyle, Fr Brickley, Fr Matt Kelly, Mairéad D'Arcy, and the Altar Servers. Sincere thanks to Maura McAuliffe, Siobhán and Alison whose singing and music contributed to a moving ceremony. We thank Murphy Bros. Undertakers and Staff, Naas. As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
