SMITH (Patrick J.) (Paddy) (Bayview Road, Wicklow) (Died August 21, 2006) - Wife Angela and family, John, Tricia (Burke), Paul, Colm, Roseanne, Frank and Peter, his brother John, his sisters Mary Brennan and Pearl Doherty, and Tom Fitzgerald; we all wish to sincerely thank the so many relatives and friends of all generations, from close and far, who have given us such wonderful support at this sad time. Our thanks to Fr F. McDonnell, Fr Matt Brennan, Fr Hannon, Fr O'Reilly, Fr J. O'Sullivan, Fr C. Gallagher, Canon B. Kirby, Fr Tom, Chaplain to St Vincent's Hospital. Special thanks to the staff of Salem Medical Centre for their consistent care of Paddy, to the care nurses from EHB who were always on call for him and to Fergal O'Dwyer and his entire staff of Shines Chemist for their kindness to Paddy over the years. Our thanks to the clinic staff in St Michael's Hospital, both Heart Failure and Diabetic Units and to the exceptionally wonderful care given by the staff in St Vincent's Hospital. Our appreciations to the Taoiseach for having his A.D.C. attend his funeral, also to St Patrick's GAA Club and the Wicklow Port Authority members who provided a guard of honour at the funeral. We wish to thank Ned Sweeney Funeral Service and his staff for their very caring and sensitive arrangements. Thanks to the pipers, the grave attendants and to the many members of the GardaĆ for all their assistance at the funeral. Special thanks to Lyndsey Ahern and Brid Pedereski for providing such lovely singing and music. Our appreciations for the many donations made to the Diabetics Federation of Ireland in memory of Paddy. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere thank you to all who shared in our sadness and celebrations. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Paddy's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick's Church, Wicklow on Sunday September 24, 2006, at 10 o'clock
