BYRNE Seamus (James) (Serpentine Road, Sandymount) - November 15, 2010 at his daughter Mary's home at Willow Grove, Delgany, peacefully in his sleep at the great age of 95. Predeceased by his baby son John Francis and his beloved wife May; Seamus will be missed dearly by daughters Mary (Gibbons) and Anne, sister Terri, grandchildren Jenny, Sarah, John, Nora, Oisin and Cian, great-grandchildren Oisin and Éabba, son-in-law John, grandsons-in-law Dave and Joe, extended family, neighbours and friends. Seamus will be waked at his home from 5pm to 9pm today (Wednesday) and everyone who knew and loved him is welcome. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) to The Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount for 10 o'c Mass to celebrate his life, burial afterwards in Deansgrange Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations to Dialysis Unit, St. Vincent's University Hospital, donation box at church, enquiries to Thomas Murphy & Sons Funeral Directors, Bray, Tel: 01 286 2471.'May his gentle soul rest in peace.'
