KENNEDY (Roscrea, Co. Tipperary and Corca Dhuibhne, Co. Kerry) - December 26, 2006, Muiris, retired Principal, Roscrea Vocational School (peacefully, at home, following a long illness borne with great courage, dignity and good humour), beloved husband of Mai and father of Fionnuala (Waterford), Bairbre (Dingle), Feargal (Kilfeacle), Meabh (Melbourne), Conal (Dublin) and Aoife (London); brother of Síghle Fitzgerald and the late Kathleen (Wynne), Máirín (O'Connor), Eileen, Dónal, Caoimhín, Jack and Lily Mai; loving grandfather of Rob, Scott, Cillian, Lara and Ella; deeply regretted by his family and sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law Jack, sisters-in-law Edna, Ann, Irene, Elizabeth, Helen and Angela, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. Removal this Thursday at 5 o'clock from Maher's Funeral Home, Roscrea to St Cronan's Church, Roscrea. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10 o'clock followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. At the request of Muiris, no flowers please - donations in lieu to North Tipperary Hospice, who have cared so well for him during his illness. "Táimse im' chodhladh, 's ná dúistear mé".
