Our Condolences

To All of the Tobins,

I am truly sorry for your loss. As a member of the Murney family I first met Biddy when I was 15 years old traveling in Ireland with my family.

I have never forgotten the delicious strawberry cream cake Biddy served us that day. She kindly shared the recipe which I tried at home but it was no were near the same.

I later spent time with John when he was living in Boston. I too was living in Boston and we had such a great summer getting to know each other. John spoke often about his parents it was so clear that they were very special to him.

I had the privilege of meeting Jim and Biddy again just a few years ago when the Murney/Tobin Clan returned to Ireland for a second visit. They were as gracious as we remembered and we enjoyed a lovely visit that ended with Vespers at Mount Melleray.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care of yourselves and each other during tis time of sadness. Console yourselves in your happy memories.

Martha Murney Quigley

I am so sorry....

I was so sorry to hear about Biddy's passing. She and I have been writing letters to each other about Tobin family history. I live in the United States and was hoping that when I came to Ireland in the not-too-distant future, I could meet with her. She was just a sweet, lovely lady. She told me much about your wonderful family and even sent me some pictures.

Would one of you children like to continue on with me and help me with the family history research? If so, contact me as salemgal@gmail.com.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Sincerely,

Beth Allen

salemgal@gmail.com
