DOYLE (Philip Malachy) (Foxrock) (October 10, 2006) - On this the first anniversary of Philip's sudden death in France, Joan his wife and all his family would like to acknowledge and thank all those who sympathised with us in our bereavement. To Dermot and Hugh who were with him at the end, our heartfelt thanks. To those friends and neighbours who called to our home, what memories we shared with tears and laughter while we waited for him to come home. To his relatives who came from Carlow, those who travelled from Claddaghduff, Connemara and other parts of the country, and to all those who attended his funeral, sent Mass Cards, flowers, enrolments, letters of sympathy. Your warm support was greatly valued and demonstrated the affection that so many people felt for Philip. Our grateful thanks to Madame Dominique Balanche, Funeral Directrice, Aix en Provence for her sensitive care of Philip, and his children in their distress. Our thanks to Fr. Ciaran Holahan and Fr. Kieran Dunne, and all those who participated in Philip's removal and funeral Mass for making it a moving celebration of his life, with a special thanks to Frank Kelly for the haunting flute music. Mass is being offered for your intentions."May he rest in peace"
