O'CÉIDIGH, Padraig (Professor Emeritus, and Head of the Department of Zoology, National University of Ireland, Galway) - October 29, 2008, of Ard na mara, Salthill, Galway, and Kilkieran, Connemara. Beloved husband of Máirín, and loving father of Martin, Maurice and Eileen. Deeply regretted by his sister Margaret and family and his sister-in-law Nancy, his grandchildren Elena, Eabha and Grace, and his son-in-law Brian. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and former colleagues. R.I.P. Reposing in Conneely's Funeral Home, Flood St, Galway from 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Friday, October 31, followed by removal to St Mary's Dominican Church, the Claddagh, Galway. Funeral to Kilkieran Cemetery, Connemara after Requiem Mass at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 1. House private.
