WHELAN (née Dowling) Joan, (Barton Road East, Churchtown, Dublin 14) - October 13, 2010, (peacefully), after a long illness, bravely borne, in the gentle care of all the staff at Our Ladys Hospice, surrounded by her loving family, husband Arthur, sons David, Barry and Colum, daughter Roslyn; deeply missed by her many grand- children, daughters-in-law Vivienne, Carolyn and Geraldine, son-in-law Stephen, extended family relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Funeral today (Saturday) after 11.30 o'clock Mass in St. Attracta's Oratory, Meadowbrook, Ballinteer, to Kilmashogue Cemetery.
