DOWNES (Jimmy) - The wife Teresa and family of the late James (Jimmy) Downes, 56 Clare Street, Limerick wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to those who attended the removal, Mass and burial. To those who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. A special word of thanks to the team of doctors, nurses and Chaplain Fr. Frank Downes of the Mid-West Regional Hospital for the care and attention Jimmy received during the last few days of his life. Our thanks to Fr. Cussen, Fr. Power, Fr. Irwin and Fr. Sexton who officiated at the Mass and burial. Thanks to the singer and organist, John Thompson and Thompson Undertakers for their professionalism and kindness, the gravediggers, the Garda Síochána for traffic management. A special word of thanks to The Village Inn and the Castletroy Park Hotel for the beautiful food and service. To those who travelled to be with us. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Jimmy's Month's Mind Mass will be offered on Saturday (September 8, 2007) at 6.30 o'clock in St. John's Cathedral.
