HOSFORD, Desmond (Des) (Collins Avenue, late of 440 NCR and formerly of Dowth Avenue, Cabra) - June 2 2009 (suddenly). Beloved husband of Lena and much loved father of Brian, Denise and Grace. Sadly missed by his loving family, sister Ettie, aunt Josie, grandsons Luke and John. daughter-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephew, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing from 7 o'clockockat his home this (Thursday) evening. Removal tomorrow (Friday) evening from his home to arrive at the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road at 6.30 o'clock Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11 o'clockockfollowed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to St. Michael's House, Northbrook Industries, Santry Avenue, Dublin 9."The day Thou gavest, Lord has ended".
