MITCHELL (Dalkey, Co. Dublin) - December 8, 2005 (peacefully), after a brief illness, at St Vincent's University Hospital, Patrick Laurence (Paddy), late of Dalkey and formerly of Corofin, Co. Galway, dearly loved and loving husband of Ciss and adored father of Gerry, James, Eileen (Hanratty), Yvonne and John, father-in-law of Margaret, Olivia, Maeve and Patrick; greatly loved and sadly missed by his many grandchildren and his great granddaughter Ava. He will also be missed by his extended family and his many friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Sheahans Funeral Home, Upper George's Street, Dun Laoghaire. Removal today (Friday) to the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Castle Street, Dalkey arriving at 5.30 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) after 10 o'clock Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery."The West asleep, the West's asleep".
