FINNAN - February 13, 2009, William A. of Staten Island, New York and formerly Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin, peacefully, after a short illness at University Hospital, Staten Island; predeceased by his son Billy. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, by his children Gail, Carol, David and their spouses and by his grandchildren George, Rebecca, Rachel, Natalie and Maureen all in the U.S.A.; also by his sisters Eileen, Pauline and brother Jack in Dublin and their families in Dublin, Paris and U.S.A. Cremation Service has already taken place in Staten Island. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for the repose of his Soul will be celebrated in Dublin at a later date.
