O'CONNOR (Eamon) Aged 74 (Deerfield Beach, Florida and formerly of Limerick, Ireland) (suddenly) - May 17, 2007. Eamon was born in Limerick, Ireland, on May 2, 1933, and emigrated to the United States with his family in October, 1981. Eamon was an award winning news and sports cameraman for RTE in the 1960s and 70s. He was also an entertainer all his life producing and performing in shows as a comedian, ventriloquist, and magician. He touched the lives of many people with his humour and enjoyed a life full of fun, laughter and new adventures. He was the life, soul, and sport of his family. He will be truly missed by them, and all those who were fortunate to meet him. Eamon leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Theresa, and is survived by his son, Eugene, daughters Maria, Deirdre, Grannia and Aisling, grandchildren Jessica, Jake and Zak O'Connor, Conor and Kerry Mock, and Dylan and Kyra Gudmundson, and sons-in-law Kieron Woodhouse, Dean Gudmundson, and Charles Mock. There will be a memorial in Ireland for Eamon in the near future. Details of this will be announced closer to the time.
