WHELAN

WHELAN (née Barker) (Goatstown) - May 5, 2006 (peacefully) at St Vincent's University Hospital, following a prolonged illness, Elizabeth (Betty), at one now with husband Jim and son David. Much loved mother of Valerie and Louise and grandmother to Ciara, Emer and Seán; sadly missed by her sisters Ann, May, Olive and brother George, sons-in-law Steve and Peter, and large circle of relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Main Street, Dundrum from 9.30 o'clock on Monday morning with removal to the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum for 1.10 o'clock Mass and afterwards to Bohernabreena Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Friends of St Luke's Hospital Rathgar.
