McGOVERN Stephen (Cootehall, Co. Roscommon and Mullaghduff, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan) died February 8, 2009 - Stephen's mother Julia, his brothers and sisters Julie, Edward, Joseph, Priscilla, Danny and partner Susan wish to thank all those who sympathised with us at the loss of a much loved son, brother and uncle. Thank you all who called to our home and travelled long distances to attend the removal and funeral, those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and wrote letters of sympathy, those who donated money to Sligo Hospice, our good neighbours who supported us in so many ways, to the doctors and nurses in Sligo Hospital. A special thanks to the Palliative care team for their superb care for Stephen. To Fr Brian Conway, Fr Eamonn Lynch, Fr Pat Farrelly, Fr Patrick Young, who concelebrated the funeral Mass with us. A special thanks to the choir for the lovely singing and music at the funeral. To the alter boys and gravediggers and to Brian Fee for his professionalism. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
