FLANNERY (née Jinks) (Jacqueline) Taney Rise, Dundrum, Dublin and formerly Sligo (died October 29, 2006) - Her husband Mick and sons David, Paul, Brian and Barry, daughters Joan, Sheelagh and Deirdre, and their families wish to express their sincere thanks to all who supported them in the recent sad loss of a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to so many people. Her presence among us is sorely missed and the absence of her cheerful disposition and generous heart leaves an unfillable gap in our lives. To all those who sympathised with us in our bereavement, all who attended the house, the removal, Mass and the funeral, who sent Mass Cards and letters of sympathy, who made donations to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, our sincere gratitude. A special word of thanks to those who travelled long distances to the removal and funeral, to the doctors and staff of Our Lady's Hospice who gave such devoted care and loving attention to Jacqueline in her last months. To Reverend Fr O'Doherty, Parish Priest, Dundrum for his kindness during her illness, removal and funeral; to the Jesuit Priests who participated in the funeral Mass. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt application to all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for them.
