Aidan Collins/CBS Pipe Band

I'm only now hearing of the passing of Brother Enright. He was a very important influence in my life through all of secondary school as a teacher and advisor. I remember the discipline he brought to the band - I was in it the whole way through school. My sympathies to his family.

Aidan Collins, San Francisco, California

A long lost friend

My name is Charles O Shaughnessy and i was a member of the CBS pipe band in the 70s. I am deeply saddened by your loss. I knew Dinny as we used call him and found him to be a wonderful man and teacher. Only for him i would not have passed my leaving certhonorsexam in 1976. I am truly sorry i did not meet him later in life. I stayed in his family home and met his parents, his brother Tom and his younger sister Trish i think? Many a time i passed the family house on my way to Dingle and thought of stopping and inquiring but sadly ididn't. The next time i am in Ireland i will make a point of visiting. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Kind regards. Le gach dea ghui. Charles O Shaughnessy, Prishtina Kosovo
