CARROLL, John (Sean) (Cabinteely, Dublin and Blessington, County Wicklow) - On the first anniversary of John's death on January 15, 2007, we - his wife Gaye, children Suzanne, Eoin, Jennifer and Julie and his extended family - wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We very much appreciate all the comfort and support we received during John's illness, death and in the year since, from our wonderful neighbours, work colleagues and friends. Our heartfelt thanks go to all those who attended John's removal Service, requiem Mass and burial in his beloved Wicklow. The support of so many was greatly appreciated. A special word of thanks to Fr. Tom O'Keefe, Fr. Sean Cassidy, Fr. Joe Kennedy, the Reverend Kevin Dalton together with the organist, Seamus Ludden and singers, Jennifer O'Neill, Michael Regan and Jim Flavin who made John's removal and Mass so special. We thank all those who cared for him, especially our GP., Dr RonĂ¡n O'CuilleanĂ¡in for his wonderful care and attention throughout John's illness. A special mention to Dr Tom Creagh, Dr Clare Faul and their teams and all the nursing and care staff of the Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin; Beaumont Hospital; St. Vincent's Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital, Rathgar. Thanks are also due to Clarke's Funeral Directors, Blessington for a most sensitive and professional service. As a token of our appreciation, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all. The First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated today (Saturday) at 6.30 o'clock in St Brigid's Church, Cabinteely."Ar dheis De go raibh a anam"
