FLYNN Christopher (Christy) (Swords Road, Dublin, died December 3, 2007) - Christy's four sons, four daughters and sisters together with his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and 17 grandchildren and extended family in U.S.A. would like to thank most sincerely the many people who sympathised with them on their sad loss and those who sent letters, Mass cards or floral tributes. In particular we would like to thank family friend, Fr. Liam Lacey, also priests of the parish of the Holy Child, Whitehall, Fr. Donal Neary, S.J. of Gardiner Street, all our relations, friends and neighbours. We would also like to extend our thanks to the staff and customers of Flynn's of Bolton Street, staff of Dept. of Arts, Sports and Tourism, the national cultural institutions, L.G.C.S.B., Dublin County Board G.A.A., Belgrove Junior Girls' School, St. Michael's House Northbrook, Santry and the Garda Síochána Store Street. Christy lived a long and happy life and was predeceased by his wife May in 2001 and his son Declan in 1982. He will be very much missed by his loving family.
