BURKE Maureen (née Holmes) (late of Cromwellsfort Road, Dublin 12) - September 12, 2009 (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of Oonagh and the staff at Asgard Lodge Nursing Home, Arklow, after a short illness very bravely borne, former Speech and Drama teacher and Licentiate of Trinity College, London, Maureen, beloved wife of the late Ossie senior and treasured mother of Marie, Ossie, Elizabeth, Margot, Ruth, Jack and Billie; she will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Removal from her daughter Margot's home, St. Thomas's, Dublin Road, Arklow on Wednesday morning at 10.45 o'clock to St. Joseph's Church, Templerainey, arriving for Mass at 11 o'clock and the to Mount Jerome for cremation at 2 o'clock No flowers please, donations in lieu to the National Council for the Blind of Ireland.
