O'BRIEN (née O'Connor) (Eileen) (Carnanes, Kilrush, Co. Clare) - On the first anniversary of Eileen's tragic death, her husband Stephen, daughters Máire and Edel, sons Tom, Liam, Sean and Stephen, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and extended family wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their love, care and support both at the time and over the past year. Thank you to Dr. Tom Nolan who attended to Eileen at the scene of the accident, to Kilrush Gardai, in particular Garda Lisa O'Mahony, Fr. Michael Collins and the members of Kilrush Fire Brigade. All acted in a professional, courteous and caring way. Special thanks to Antoinette Murphy. To all Eileen's neighbours who rallied around and without whose support a difficult time would have been impossible. To all those who attended the removal, Mass and funeral of Eileen a huge thank you. Many travelled from all over Clare and different parts of Ireland in atrocious weather conditions. Special thanks to the many who travelled from Kenmare, Eileen's native and much loved home-place. Thanks to Michael Cusack, Funeral Director, for his understanding and kindness in a traumatic time, to the clergy of Kilrush, the church choir and organist. Thanks to Kilrush Golf Club for their assistance with catering for those who travelled to the removal and funeral. We remember all who sent Mass Cards, floral tributes and letters of sympathy. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St. Senan's Church, Kilrush on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 7.30 am.
