REID (Marian) (née Foley) (tragically following a motor accident on June 30, 2004, First Anniversary) - Derek, Meabh, Cian and Aislinn wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us and supported us on the sudden loss of my beautiful wife and our special Mum, our beloved Marian. We would like to thank those who attended the removal, funeral, sent us Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, telephoned, contributed to The Hospice Foundation and helped us during the past difficult year. Also to family, friends, neighbours and Peggy who have given practical and emotional help. All your kindness and support means so much to us. In particular to Rev Dr Norman Gamble, Canon Peter Hardman for his beautiful Homily, Fr Gerry Tanham and to the Grey and Rock Funeral Directors. To the emergency services, Garda Siochana and hospital staff all in Nenagh for their help. To the caring staff in Temple Street Hospital and Barnardos. To all Marian's friends and especially her friends in primary teaching for their support, to the principal and staff of River Valley National School for their moving Memorial Service in honour of Marian. We would also like to thank the Board of Management, principal, staff and families of St Andrew's School, Malahide for their help and understanding.
