GILL Herbert

GILL Herbert (Cypress Lodge Castletown Portlaoise) - Herbert's wife Gladys and family wish to thank all who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement, especially all our neighbours, relatives and friends who called to the house with refreshments, to all who travelled to the funeral, sent cards, or donations in his name to the RNLI. They would also like to thank Bishop Trevor Williams, Archdeacon Robert Warren, Canon Ian Poulton and Rev Ian Coulter for their attendance at the funeral, and to Margaret Jestin, organist. Sincere thanks to Dr John Lyons, and staff of the Coronary Unit of Portlaoise Hospital, and a special thank you to Herbert's good friend, Undertaker Jimmy Guilfoyle for his superb service. As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and thanks. The RNLI has received 2100 euro as a result of the collection.
