GIBSON F. Alexander - 18.05.1924 - 05.06.2010 On this the First Anniversary of Alex's death, Alice, Tricia, Lesley, Peter, Jillian and David wish to thank our relatives, friends and wonderful neighbours for their support, especially those who travelled long distances to be with us at the Service of Remembrance in Christ Church, Rathgar. We also give our warmest thanks to: all those who wrote, phoned and called to the house; all our friends at Christ Church who provided refreshments after the Service; Revd. Mary Hunter for the sincere way in which she conducted the service and her many tributes to Alex and for her care and support of all the family; Gus Nicholls for the professional and caring manner in which he carried out his duties; and all Alex's colleagues and friends in the Dept. of the Marine and many others who were involved with him during his lifelong career in Fisheries. We also thank Dr. Barry O'Connell and his team at the Respiratory Unit, St James's Hospital - we remember with gratitude their care and treatment of Alex during his illness. Also our thanks to Dr. O'Sullivan and her team at St. Luke's Hospital for their care of Alex. Finally, thank you to all those people who sent donations to St. James's Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital in memory of Alex.
