BUDHLAEIR Muiris (An Rinn, Dungarvan agus Fearann, Ballyferriter, Co. Kerry) - On the First Anniversary of his death, Cáit Costello, his sister in Tralee, Jim Roche husband of his late sister Bernie, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends of Muiris wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us, who attended his funeral and sent cards on the loss of our beloved Muiris. Our thanks to the people of Ring, Sean Phobal and Dungarvan who visited Muiris in Care Choice. We are forever grateful to his friend and fellow teacher Maíre who visited him often - he enjoyed the banter and friendship with patients, staff and visitors. A special word of thanks and gratitude to the wonderful staff of Care Choice who attended attentively to Muiris as did the local doctors. Our thanks to all the people who sympathised with us in the funeral home in Dungarvan and the Church in An Rinn, the people of An Rinn, Sean Phobal, Dungarvan his fellow teachers, past pupils and everyone who traveled long distances. We appreciate the esteem and respect you held for Muiris. A special "go raibh maith agaibh" to all the staff of Colaíste na Rinne and Scoíl na Leanaí who provided refreshments after the funeral. The spirit of the Coláiste and the scoil beloved by Muiris was expressed poignantly in the guard of honour performed by the students in his honour. Our thanks to all the priests who concelebrated the Mass - Fr. O'Ceallaigh P.P. sa Rinn, Fr. Eamonn O'Cuilleain S.P. , Fr. Sean O'Cadhla S.P. and Fr. Michael Enright P.E. who attended sa Rinn. Fr. Eoghan O'Cadhla P.P. Baile 'n Fheirtearaigh for his fitting homily, an t-ath. O'hIcí and Monsignor O'Mannín - a relative and friend of the Budhlaeir family. We wish to thank all the people who helped in any way with the Mass sa Rinn and in Ballyferriter and to the members of the I.N.T.O. who formed a guard of honour to Dún Úrlann. We will forever treasure the memory of Anne Mulqueen and her family singing Oilean Dhún an Oir so beautifully sa Rinn and at the graveside in Dun Úrlann. A special word of thanks to Daithí Ó Cadhla who looked after all the funeral arrangements sa Rinn, Tralee and Ballyferriter. He carried out his duties with respect and reverence. As an expression of our sincerest gratitude to you all for your respect to Muiris and sympathy to us the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be celebrated for your special intentions at 8 p.m. in Seipéal Naomh Uinseann Ballyferriter on Friday 2nd July.
