MONAGHAN Bernadette (neƩ Faherty, late of Mount Merrion and Clifden) (died February 12, 2007) - As we approach the first anniversary of the death of our beloved wife, beautiful mum and best friend, we, her husband Hugh, children Laoise, Rhona, Sinead and Hugh wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathized and shared with us on our devastating loss. We very much appreciate the comfort and support we received during Bernadette's illness and in the months since her passing, from our family, friends and work colleagues. Our heartfelt thanks go to all who attended the reposal, funeral Mass and burial, especially those who travelled long distances to be with us. We appreciate the many letters, Mass cards, flowers and generous donations to the nominated charities. We would like to extend sincere thanks to Fr Noel Boylan for his beautiful Mass and to Fr. Pat McManus and Fr. David Tyndell for their support. We deeply appreciate the warm and dedicated manner in which Prof. John Crown cared for Bernadette over her last 8 years. He and his wonderful staff in St. Vincent's Private Hospital were unfailing in their care. We would like to acknowledge the support of Bernadette's friends during her illness. Every card, letter, text, phone call, visit and gift was a source of strength to her and, in turn, to us. We realize how many share our loss. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered for your intentions.
