COBBE (Portarlington, Co. Laois and Dublin) - April 18, 2010 (peacefully), at home surrounded by his family, Jim, late of Foxrock, darling husband and friend of Gerri and loving dad of Emma and Jamie, father-in-law to Lisa and proud granddad to Leon; sadly missed by his loving wife and family, his sister Bernadette and brother Michael, mother-in-law May, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at his home. Funeral tomorrow (Tuesday) after 11 o'clock Mass in Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society."We're not here for a long time,
We're here for a good time"

<p>A great character departed.</p> <p>Dear Geri and family,</p> <p>what a truly sad occasion. Jim was a larger than life character who was endeared to all he met. Sorry I cant be there but am thinking of all of ye.</p> <p>He always said he got the best pint of Carlsberg ever in our pub in Wexford and I am sure he is enjoyng them all the more now.</p> <p>Robert Murphy</p>
