O'REILLY (Anna B.T.) (Poles, Cavan) - We, Anna's brother Seamus and sisters Kathleen and Rosaleen and her extended family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on the recent sad and sudden death of our beloved youngest sister, Anna; to all those who sent Mass Cards, flowers, attended her wake at home, removal of her remains, her Mass and funeral and her Month's Mind Mass. A word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Cavan General Hospital, the Mater Hospital and St James's Outpatients Department. We are very grateful to the priests who regularly visited Anna while she was in hospital, also to the hospital Chaplain Fr Peter McPartland who gave her the last rites; to Fr Andrew Tully C.C., Fr John Gilhooly ADM., Fr Sean Maun P.P., Fr Oliver Kelly P.P. and Fr Paul Casey who concelebrated the funeral Mass. Thanks to the Altar servers for making themselves available. To An Post staff, past and present, local, countrywide and at Area Head Office, Dundalk, thank you for the sympathy and support and for the expressions of the high esteem in which Anna was held. We thank the GardaĆ for their respectful demeanour and their professional management of the traffic. We are very grateful to Mr Declan Finnigan who conducted the funeral arrangements so sensitively and professionally, and to the gravediggers for their care. To Christine and her helpers who took over the kitchen and looked after all of us, many thanks. Our heartfelt gratitude to the extended family, friends, neighbours and post office customers who supported and comforted us throughout those sad days; for the sharing of memories, tears and prayers through the two day vigil. Anna lived her faith daily. Her last two prayers were the Our Father and the Memorare said clearly and fervently. She always remembered others, prayed for them and enjoyed their company. We miss her and know that all who knew her will miss her too. As it would be impossible to write to everyone individually, you are in our thoughts and prayers. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions in St Bridget's Church, Killygarry, Cavan, at 1 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, September 30, 2006.
