CASSIDY Rev Patrick James (died August 24, 2007) Clonmel and London - On his first anniversary, Fr Paddy's family wish to sincerely thank all who sympathised with them on their sad loss. Heartfelt Gratitude to His Eminence Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor for celebrating Fr Paddy's Requiem Mass at the Church of St Mary Magdalene, Whetstone, London. We thank Bishop George Stack, who represented the Diocese of Westminster at the funeral Mass in Clonmel. A special word of thanks to Fr Billy Meehan P.P., Fr Bobby Power and Eddie Sweetman, St Mary's, Clonmel. For your touching Homily we thank Fr Paddy's dear friend Fr Tony O'Connell P.P. Rathnure, Co Wexford. Thanks to Fr Kevin Ryan, Xavarian Missionaries, London, and to the many priests who concelebrated. We are very grateful to Bishop William Lee (Waterford and Lismore) and Bishop Michael Russell who attended. To St Mary's Church choir for your beautiful music - sincere gratitude. We thank the Presentation Sisters in Clonmel for your kindness to Fr Paddy over the years and for your continued friendship. Grateful thanks to our friends and neighbours, to all who wrote letters, sent Mass cards, e-mailed and phoned us and to all who travelled to be with us. Thank you also to David Fennessy, Undertaker. Fr Paddy's sisters, Berna Farrell and Sr Agnes Cassidy, his brother Nick and the extended Cassidy, Farrell and O'Carragáin families thank you all from the heart. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.May I know Thee more clearly
