WATSON (Professor George Watson) (University of Aberdeen 1966-2005). A memorial service for Professor George Watson former Head of the English Department and Director of the Research Institute of Irish and Scottish Studies at the University of Aberdeen, founding member of the British Association of Irish Studies and Director of the Yeats International Summer School in Sligo (1998-2000) who died on February 2, 2009, will be held in St Machar's Cathedral, Old Aberdeen, at 11 o'clock on Friday, October 30, 2009.
