CARNEY, Noreen, late of Wicklow, died December 14, 2007 - Her husband Jim, daughters Mary, Anne and Noreen and son Padraic, sisters Nancy and Claire, brothers Billy and Paddy, together with their families, express our profound gratitude and appreciation of all who sympathised and shared in the loss of our loving and beloved Noreen. To all who attended the wake, removal, funeral Mass, offered support, gave Mass Cards, made donations to the Irish Kidney Association and travelled long distances to be with us, we offer our sincere gratitude. Special thanks to Noreen's friends whose loyalty was constant and to all our friends and neighbours. We would especially like to thank Fr. Hannon and the other priests who assisted with the ceremonies and supported us in a very difficult time, and to Flannery's, Funeral Director, who were a marvellous support. We would like to thank particularly the staff in Jervis St. Hospital and Beaumont Hospital who cared for Noreen over many long years; the staff in the Florence Nightingale Unit of the Blackrock Clinic who cared for her so well in her final days, Fr. Gerry Byrne (Blackrock Clinic Chaplain), and Dr. Neil Golden, our GP, who was a wonderful support to her. Thanks to Butler's Pharmacy, the Meals on Wheels Service, Wicklow Community and Family Services who provided her with wonderful home care service and our community nurses. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Noreen's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated at 11.30 o'clock on Sunday, January 13 in St. Patrick's Church, Wicklow Town.
