BONAR (Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal) The family of the late Peronelle (Perry) Bonar wish to thank, most sincerely, all who sympathised with them in their recent, sudden and sad bereavement. Our thanks to everyone who attended the wake and funeral especially those who travelled long distances, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, letters of condolence or sent donations for the Critical Care Unit at Belfast Royal Victoria Hospital. A very sincere thanks to our kind neighbours, friends and relatives for their generous help during the wake and funeral. We are extremely grateful to the members of the staff at Belfast City Airport who came to Perry's assistance when she suffered her subarachnoid haemorrhage; to the ambulance crews, the paramedics and doctors and nurses in The City Hospital casualty department, and the surgeons, doctors and nurses in the Neurosurgical and Critical Care Units at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast all of whom treated her with such skill, kindness and compassion. Our thanks, also to the hospital chaplain Fr. McGlynn, for his comforting presence and prayers in the days and minutes before her death. Thank you to our Parish Priest, Fr. Doohan for celebrating her Requiem Mass and to his concelebrants Fr. James OFM Cap. and Fr. Patrick OFM Cap, Ard Mhuire. Thanks to Pauline Glacken for her beautiful singing and to her brother for his musical accompaniment. We thank the Lady Captain and ladies of Dunfanaghy Golf Club for forming a guard of honour, the Garda Siochána for directing traffic and the Arnold family for their kind assistance. Thanks to the undertakers, Seamus and James Harkin for their customary efficient service. We are truly grateful to you all and trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation of the help, comforting support and encouragement you gave all of us at a time of great sorrow. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
