MEEHAN, Maura (Annaville Grove, Dundrum and formerly of Clonave, Co. Westmeath) - The brothers, sisters and extended family of Maura wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on the death of Maura. Sincere thanks to those who came to her removal from St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park; those present for the reception of her remains in Multyfarnham Parish Church and those who attended her funeral Mass and burial on St Patrick's Day. In particular we wish to thank the Parish Priest of Multyfarnham, Fr. Gerry Boyle who received the remains, said the funeral Mass and attended at the graveside, also his concelebrants Mgr. Patrick Earley, Fr. Denis Harrington and Fr. Oliver Scally; Soloist, Ms Louise O'Brien who sang beautifully and made it possible for us to carry out Maura's wishes, also Mr. Con Gilsenan, funeral director, who attended to every detail. We will always remember the kindnesses shown to us during her illness by the medical, nursing and chaplaincy staff of the hospital; also the Palliative Care Team, neighbours and friends who were there for us; those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes, letters of sympathy, called to the house or travelled long distances to the removal and funeral. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.
