Paddy O'Sullivan and Oliver Purcell

Paddy was a great friend of my father Oliver Purcell. Paddy was my Dad's best man. At one stage they were both in the Royal Hospital and visited one another. My dad died on 23rd March this year so Paddy has now gone to join him. They enjoyed many a bachelor holiday together. On the ocassion of my Dad's 80th birthday Paddy appeared with a bottle of whiskey and whispered something to my Dad and there was a great roar of laughter. Hope they enjoying the whisper up above with Angel and my mum Grace. They went to matches together and had agreat time with refreshments in belevedere afterwards! Paddy stood in for my own godfather at my christening and i always felt an affinity with him. A true gentleman. May he rest in peace. Sabina Purcell
