ELLIOTT (Gordon) - June 5, 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden, at 84. Irish citizen, M.A. (St Andrews) Officer in Scottish regiment WWII; University Lecturer, Lund 1949-1955; Swedish Military Academy 1958-1972; Professional Business Translator 1969-2005. Sadly missed by his wife Maria, his sons James and Robin and many friends in Sweden, Britain, Ireland, Canada, France and around the World. Gordon Elliott established academic exchange between universities in Sweden and Ireland. He was the founder of the Caledonian Society in Sweden promoting Irish and Scottish culture. Funeral and burial took place in Stockholm on June 22, 2005. For more details contact Robin Elliott 086 3861759.
