McCARTHY (Sheila) (Scholarstown, Dublin and formerly Cappamore, Co. Limerick) - Sheila's family wish to thank all those who contributed to Sheila's care and support during her illness and to those who sympathised with us during that time and at the time of the bereavement. Sheila particularly wanted the love and support of her many close friends and neighbours acknowledged. To the nursing, medical and surgical staff of the Mater Private Hospital, we extend our gratitude for their kindness and care of her over many weeks. A particular word of thanks to the representatives of the staffs of Jervis Street and Beaumont Hospitals who attended the Removal or Mass. We would like to thank the many priests, relatives and friends who attended and participated in the funeral ceremonies in Knocklyon and Cappamore; the sacristans in both churches who were so helpful, and John, who arranged the wonderful music at Sheila's request, making the liturgies very special. It would be impossible to acknowledge individually all the messages of support and sympathy that we received, but they were all really appreciated and valued. We acknowledge with gratitude the donations to Sheila's nominated charity (Cancer Research at the Mater Hospital). The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
