TALLON Christopher L. (Christy) (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin and formerly of New Ireland Assurance) died December 24, 2008 - Christy's wife Ita, children Gerard, Elaine and Niall, sister Maura and family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all those who sympathised with them through attending the funeral Mass, who called to the house, telephoned, sent cards, messages and letters of sympathy. In particular we would like to thank his retired colleagues, our wonderful neighbours and friends. We would also like to thank all those who cared for Christy - Dr. Peter Staunton (GP), Dr. Diarmuid O'Shea (Consultant) and his team, the staff of St. Vincent's University Hospital especially the nurses on St. Michael's Ward, Mary Bartley, staff and all those who attend the Thursday Men's Friendship Club and Leopardstown Day Care Centre. Many thanks to Fr. Andrew O'Sullivan who celebrated the funeral Mass. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
